CRIMENC TACKLES COMPUTER CRIMINALS
May 16th 2007, Charlotte NC

Crime NC which is an on-line instant criminal records retrieval provider recently completed negotiations with Matthew P. Daubert to come on board has a Lead Computer Forensic Officer. Mr. Dauberts first task will be the completion of our state-of the-art computer forensic lab Where Mr. Daubert and his team will begin recovering incriminating evidence from intentionally damaged computers. The Hard Drives in these computers are destroyed by the suspect owners so no one can find the illicit material stored on the drives themselves.

John L. Snider Sr is the Director for CrimeNC and states that the subjects in these types of Investigations are people suspected normally by a spouse or employer of storing Pornographic images Child predator pictures and text and emails. “This is a huge business today we just had a case where a financial officer was suspected of embezzlement so he removed the Drive from the computer and smashed it up thinking he was destroying the evidence. Daubert and his team successfully recovered the incriminating emails and financial documents that ultimately led to the suspects arrest and later conviction.”

Daubert who is a retired Police Deputy Chief developed many of the techniques used by Forensic experts around the country. He has over 10 years experience in this relatively new field and we look forward to his assistance with CrimeNC clients. Mr. Daubert also sits on the Board of Directors for Silent Protocol Inc which is a specialized investigative company.

CRIMENC.COM MACE'S THE BAD GUYS
May 17th 2007, Charlotte NC

Crime NC, a Criminal Record Retrieval company, announced today that it identified over 4,000 applicants who had felony convictions and 6,000 more with misdemeanor convictions so far this year. Nearly all of these applicants stated on their applications they had never been convicted of a crime.

Matt Daubert, who is the Vice President of CNC Operations, attributes these results to CNC’s new MACE (Multi Access Criminal Evaluator) search, which is a proprietary database recently completed by the CNC team that can scan criminal records in 32 states.

Matt said, “This system is great in light of the Fort Dix terrorist incident where security has tightened. We just completed some background screens on some playground contractors at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey using the MACE search and caught multiple workers on the base with several charges like man-slaughter, possession of cocaine and occupying a dwelling for prostitution. These applicants professed to have only lived in New Jersey all of their lives, but the MACE search found records on them in numerous states, which we may have never found on our own.”

Brett Alford, who was one of the designers of the MACE system, reported that the search is so sophisticated that it can update itself daily and it automatically searches several ancillary categories like the FBI and U.S. Marshal’s 25 most wanted fugitives. In fact, it will even scan the Interpol, Homeland Security databases for enemies of the state and known terrorists. This search is truly second to none. In the civilian market it’s the next best thing to the US government’s NCIC (National Crime Information Computer), which is only accessible to law enforcement.

Mr. Brett Alford became a licensed North Carolina Private Investigator in 2002 and co-founded Silent Protocol, Inc. in 2003 with John L. Snider, Sr. Due to strategic marketing and in no small part, word of mouth, SPI quickly gained a significant client base in its early days. Currently, Mr. Alford is the Director of Investigations for SPI and the Lead Investigator for medium to high profile cases. Mr. Alford has investigated a diverse range of cases including, but limited to wrongful death police shootings, cheating spouses, identity theft, witness locates, dead-beat parent locates, employment / dating background checks and much more.

Mr. Alford is a member of the North Carolina Association of Private Investigators and is also a licensed Florida Private Investigator.

In addition to his current duties with Silent Protocol, Inc., Mr. Alford is currently a Senior Vice President for Network Research Systems and is responsible for research and development as well as strategic training for team leaders and their groups as it pertains to high volume accounts.
